about

The second album of RSI, Rayspark Industries' earlier alias from 1995, including 10 extra [bonus] tracks not previously available.

This album is inspired by the no holds barred direction of Warp Record's 'Artificial Intelligence' series and I would like to thank in no particular order Autechre, Richard H. Kirk, Ken Ishii, L.F.O., Speedy J, Robert Leiner, Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, 808 State, Chemical Brothers and Kenny Larkin for the inspiration to create these works.

The tracks were originally mastered to metal position tape on a Sony Dolby S deck and are now remastered in 24 bit using iZotope Ozone 5 for release on Bandcamp.

I'm publishing this so you can see the process of development to which is now the Rayspark Industries sound.

Let's continue the journey.

Rayspark Industries UK

Paul Darlington records as Rayspark Industries. The thirst for auditory discovery is what keeps his sound fresh and ever- changing and is the well-spring of his creativity. Music is used as a platform for explorations of new sounds found or created, many unheard and many certainly unused in the context of composition. ... more
